In the year 2007, `Naya Jnanodaya’ a reknowned literary magazine of ‘Bharatiya Jnanapith’ started publishing caricatures of writers drawn by Mr. Thaker. The magazine published 49 caricatures in a single issue of January 2012. An exhibition of all the caricatures was organised by the magazine at the ‘World Book Fair, Delhi’ in 2015 which was a big draw. Later 13haratiya Jnanapith’ changed its policy and published for the first time, a collection of his caricatures of Jnanapith Awardees.

Mr.Nirmish Thaker, a Chief Engineer working with ON GC , is a person of multiple talent. Apart from being a hobby cartoonist, he is a columnist, satirist, poet, playwright, tabla player and TV artist. His first cartoon exhibition was inaugurated by legendary R.K.Laxman at Baroda in 1997.

He hs secured a unique place in prestigious ‘Limca book of Records’ NINE times in the field of cartoons and caricatures. He has to his credit more than 45 books in Hindi, English and Gujarati.
