About Sursagar:
Sursagar is a non-profit music organisation of Bangalore dedicated to the promotion and propagation of Hindustani Classical Music. The strong foundation that was laid by its founders, has helped the present Committee, which took over in August, 2010, to take the organisation to greater heights. The members of the new committee are dedicated, hard working and talented. Ever since the present committee took over, it has tried to create new themes for each year’s musical calendar.

Thus from its humble beginnings in the year 1982, Sursagar’s each stride ahead has been marked with firm conviction and unflinching zeal. Sursagar has steadily risen in popularity and stature and this would not have been possible without the help, support and encouragement of its members, donors, well wishers, and the rasikas of Bangalore.
