The main focus of this workshop/performance is to discover each individual’s unique dance code and spark that makes her/his dance alive and aesthetic; to delve deeper into the nuances of movement that could change the way you move, connect and perform.

Open to Classical and Contemporary dancers, who may be amateurs, students, performers, professionals and teachers. Or even if you are just very passionate about dance, drop in!

About Chitra Arvind:
chitra-aravindArtistic Director of Rhythmotion, Bengaluru, Chitra is a fluid, buoyant, strong and expressive dancer and performer. She has been practicing, performing and professing for three decades in Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Contemporary dance styles. She has to her credit many dance productions and performances in both classical and contemporary dance styles that have been showcased across India and abroad. She was invited to work as a performing artist and rehearsal director in London for several years with leading contemporary dance choreographers. She has been invited by the University of California, Irvine, School of Ballet and Rhythmic, Croatia, Gangubai Hangal University Mysore to name a few, to teach the nuances of movement, Indian classical dance technique and choreography. Her expertise lies in recognizing the intricacies of an individual’s movement capacity and helping her/him evolve and progress as a dancer and performer.
