I Will Go Out – A March to reclaim women’s rights
Bengaluru chapter of the nationwide I Will Go Out movement is organizing “I Will Go Out – A March to reclaim women’s rights”
#IWillGoOut is a nationwide gathering in solidarity against sexual harassment and misogyny, and to reclaim women’s rights to safe public spaces. I Will Go Out is a collective of individuals and organisations across various cities in India.
The march at Bengaluru will start at City Railway Station Auto Stand on Gubbi Thotadappa Road. The march will continue towards the ground next to the Freedom Park parking lot where there will be an event with performances by Bindhumalini and the band Swarathma. The event will also have readings by the social activist Pushpa Achanta and the journalist and author Ammu Joseph.
Start point – Bangalore City Railway Station at 5 pm.
