Every year, KALASHRI, the artistic anniversary of the institute is the dream of the little artists of Sangeeth Bharathi Institute of Arts to showcase their talent and learning through out the year in the field of dance and music. The students are full with enthusiasm invite all their relatives and friends to watch them dance on the stage. This opportunity is not to show their professionalism but to show how, inspite of their school and other activities the students could take out some time for their liking and is now eager to perform the dance numbers at their best to the open. We see innocence, discovery nature, discipline, affection, style, ability to grasp their teachers instructions in their performance and thus Anniversary of a dance or a music class is a unique treat to watch. The audience can associate themselves with the participants there and may forget themselves for some time.
Guru Smt. Padma Hemanth along with her husband, B.R. Hemanth Kumar (musician) running Sangeeth Bharathi Institute of Arts in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru and is training the young talents in dance and Mr. Hemanth in music. Under the guidance of this artistic, non-commercial, visualtistic couples, the students learn these divine arts along with the art of living. They get their personality groomed to become a good human being apart from a good artist.
There are more than 100 students taking part in Kalashri. The program begins with the traditional dance reproteire with live orchestral support. The music students too will sing with the orchestral support and enjoys exhibiting their singing talent. The second part of the program is a dance feature, ‘Shri Vasavi Divyadarshana’. We have internationally acclaimed artists having sung for the ballet with lilting music by Vid. B.R. Hemanth Kumar. The devi Goddess Vasavi is enacted ably by one the senior most talented student, Sheetal Hemanth.The Compere or MC is none other than Public TV fame Harish Nagaraj.
