La Suite: Confronting the work and legacy of Pina Bausch

proFabien Prioville Dance Company brings LA SUITE

The journey of La Suite, choreographed by Fabien Prioville, begins at the characters of Pina Bausch’s Café Müller. While this piece takes the great legacy forward, it does so with panache and integral originality. The protagonists tell their own stories; seizing the past and transforming it into the present.

Centre-Stage is the main attraction of the 10-day dance festival, presenting cutting-edge contemporary dance and digital performances from countries across the world like the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Korea, Poland, South Africa, Finland, and India.

Fabien Prioville has performed in Attakkalari India Biennial 2011 as well. Attakkalari urges Bengaluru audience to seize the opportunity to watch his work once again. The performance is accompanied by live music played by legends of contemporary music from the UK, adding to the reasons why it should not be missed. Come an hour early to the venue to watch Café Müller to be screened at Ranga Shankara Foyer.
