Over the last few years he has been trying to explore the non-linearity in ideas and its abstract narrations. He uses video, sound, photography, objects (Installations) drawings and science as a tool to enter and explore his ideas in a multidisciplinary approach, he is trying to have a cultural, political and subjective conotational dialogues in the context of art and its role in abstraction and abstraction itself being a tool.
These interrelated domains of archiving, documenting, performing and process of witnessing has been his wider interests, his initial approach were more into understating the hidden dialogue of human body and its political layers of image making culture and its influence in eco system of what we see, what we perceive and what we act towards or as image. This amounts to a specific artistic modality and internal activism that he is deeply involved with.
Bharathesh graduated in Bachelors of Visual Art (Painting) from the Govt College of Fine Art, Dharwad and completed his post graduate Masters in Visual Art (Art History) from the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Bangalore.
Born in Davangere, Bharathesh lives and works in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
