Following the overwhelming success of its recently-held 15th East West Music and Dance Encounter 2017, The Bangalore School of Music has comeup with another international concert, this time a Classical Guitar Quartet from France called, ’Terra Guitar Quartet’,
About The Terra Guitar Quartet

The Terra Guitar Quartet is an international classical guitar group formed by four young guitar virtuosos who traveled to France in order to continue studying classical guitar at the highest level under the pedagogy of French maestro Judicael Perroy. Consisting of Pedro Rocha (Brazil), Madhavan Somanathan (India), Jihyung Park (South Korea) and Xavier Jara (USA), Terra draws inspiration from a diverse and heterogeneous culture and worldview, with each member’s style and background becoming a reservoir of knowledge for the rest. On this tour of India featuring concerts in Bangalore, Calcutta, Delhi and Dehradun, Terra showcases classical italian and russian masterpieces interspersed with contemporary guitar music from Brazil, Cuba, and the United States.

The Quartet will conduct Guitar Master-classes at The Bangalore School of Music on Sunday, 26th March 2017.

Tickets priced at Rs 200 per head, available on bookmyshow.com and at The Bangalore School of Music, both in advance as well as on the evening of the concert.
