NGMA Bengaluru, in collaboration with Dakahavisa presents Visual Presentation by Artist Pa Sa Kumar

P.S Kumar – 1949
Graduated in B.A., from Bangalore University, Diploma in painting from Ken school of art, under the tutelage of Sri.Late R.M.Hadpad.
Participated in many group shows and have attended many art camps locally and national levels. Served as art camp director for many important camps in Karnataka.
Delivered lectures on art and also have held many demonstrations for art students and art lecturers. Founder member of Kala Yatre and served as treasurer and secretary for Kalamela. Served as illustrator in Prajamatha and as chief artist in Kannada Prabha, a division of Indian express group.
From his ‘Studio Sneha’ he has contributed illustration to all important magazines and dailies in Karnataka.
Worked as Director for many documentaries namely on R.M.Hadpad, landscape artist M.S.Chandra Shekar and many others. Have written few short stories and poetry in Kannada, art criticism and have also acted in serials. Have worked as member of Lalitakala academy, Press club cultural committee and KUWJ. Recipient of Karnataka Lalitakala Academy award, Kaladhyan award, Karnataka Rajyotsava award, Press academy award and P.R.Tippeswamy award.
