Come take a walk with and discover Johnson market & it’s surroundings in a whole new perspective. You not only explore this tiny little British era market , but also learn more about the Shia connection to this area. Decades ago a man from Persia decided to make this area his home. Today there are a few roads and localities named after him and his descendants which most Bangaloreans don’t know about.
Also on the agenda are a visit to a legendary bakery in this area, sipping some Sulaimani chai, learning about the martyr’s of Karbala & paying a visit at the local church.
After a quick introduction about this area, You will be taken on a visit the heritage spots in this area. In between byte’s of history, you will be having bites of the local delicacies too.
Please wear comfortable footwear and keep a cap handy too,
On this walk you will be visiting places of worship it is advised to be appropriately dressed for this.
