Summer Camps for High School Students at Planetarium

The following camps for high school students.

1. Hands-on Universe (Fee – Rs.500/-)
This is a five-day programme on astronomy for students who have passed classes VIII, IX and X. It comprises activities related to astronomy. The first batch commences on April 18 and ends on April 22. The second batch will be organised from April 25 to April 29. Number of participants is limited to 30.

2) Experiments (Fee – Rs.500/-)
This is a five-day programme on students who have passed classes VIII, IX and X. Students will be introduced to the methods of doing experiments along with analysis of data through simple experiments. The programme commences on April 25 and ends on April 29. Number of participants is limited to 30.

One Day Workshops for students (Fee – Rs.150/-)
Four one-day workshops will be conducted for students of classes VIII – IX. These are activity-based programmes that introduce students to concepts in mathematics and science. The workshop will be held on Sundays between 10:30am and 4:00pm on April 16, 23 and 30 on the topics Pythagoras Theorem, Science of Soap Bubbles and Science of Candles respectively. Number of participants is limited to 40.
