Indian Institute of Cartoonists in assocition with Toons Mag, Norway presents Freedom of Expression – An Exhibition of International Cart0ons

The Freedom of Expression is a basic human right. Here is an effort to create awareness among people through cartoons to understand the value of the Freedom of Expression to acknowledge the responsibility to protect it.

ToonsMag, world’s first online cartoon magazine, Norway, had organised recently 2nd International Cartoon contest on the subject ‘Freedom of Expression’. The contest has received amazing response from the cartoonists all over the world. It has received 1556 entries from 518 cartoonists of 83 Countries. 75 selected cartoons from 51 countries are being displayed here.

The exhibition is simultaneously organised at The Norwegian Cartoonist Gallery (Avistegnemes Hus), Kychanie mozgu Brain Sneezing, Presov, Slovakia and Indian Cartoon Gallery, Bengaluru, India.

The man behind the cartoon contests is Mr.Arifur Rahaman, who migrated from Bangaladesh to Norway in 2010 to start ToonsMag.
