Solitude Of the Human Hive: The Art in the Human Network

May 9, 2017

Grüne Elefant Art presents Solitude Of the Human Hive: The Art in the Human Network
The exhibition features nine artists and their work for the art lovers of Bengaluru.

A soulful artistic extravaganza has unfolded at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in the form of an art exhibition.

Solitude of the Human Hive is a journey through the complex social structure that serves as our nest, through diverse views interestingly captured by the nine artists. Encompassing the simple experiences of nature and life, the works prompt the viewer to delve deeper into a frozen moment of silence and solace at the intersection of chaotic lives. Each viewer has the opportunity to experience the solitude amidst this buzzing hive. What resonates in the mind, manifests as actions, thus paving the future of individual and social existence.

These varied perspectives will be showcased by artists like Dnyaneshwar Jagadale, Emilie Moreau, Rajendra Dagade, Deepali Sarde, Uma Krishnamoorthy, Girish Urkude, Srividya GS, Sana Khan and Mark D’Cruz, who have had well received shows in Mumbai, Indore, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Venice and Paris.

Potential and talent are pervasive attributes of every artist, with every work of art bearing testimony to this. Nevertheless, only a fraction of the millions of artists across the world actually achieve the recognition they strive for. The exhibiting gallery, Grüne Elefant Art, was founded on the vision of providing upcoming as well as established artists a platform for showcasing their artwork. In effect, it serves as a nexus between upcoming artists and art connoisseurs, endorsing and championing true artistic talent across the world.

Grüne’s online gallery,, also participated in the Indian Art Festival in New Delhi last year and has been active across the country, conducting customised workshops and art experiences. The art gallery comprises carefully curated artwork that is representative of some of the finest talent of our time.

To own a piece of art is to ascribe to a lifestyle. For the true art connoisseur, it is an unbridled passion, offering glimpses of one’s unique persona and style. Founder and artist, Mark D’Cruz firmly believes that art is timeless and immortal. “It is our fortune as human beings, to be able to experience and cherish these few moments of immortality”, he says.
