Manya Art and Kraft Association brings you Hastkalaa

With India’s Glorious past and rich heritage and vibrant culture as its mainstay Manya brings to you “Hastakalaa ” The meeting of Heart, Mind and the Magic of Artisans from across the country who are headed south for the 15th Edition of Hastakalaa.

This unique event of Weavers and Craftsmen are set to showcase the rich tradition of Rural India which culminates at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath

One of its kind gathering of Artisans under one roof showcasing their skills and to promote a wide range of exquisite ethnic wear, handicrafts, paintings, carvings, jewellery, wrought iron furniture, tribal art, silver filigree, jute products, hand woven and embroidery clothing, tribal ornaments etc., With over 100 stalls participating in the Mega event it will be showcasing traditional methods of artisans art and crafts which are centuries old, among them are the famous textiles like kantha, kasuti, ikat, phulkari, uppda, patola chikankari and exotic cotton/silk saree’s from Kolkata and Kashmir and Banarasi intricate candle stands, lambani and Jaipur jewellery, bamboocraft, Tanjore paintings, Pattachitra, Madhubani, Batik and block print apparels to highlight a few.

Manya, renowned for their commitment to preserve Indian heritage has once again envisioned a unique handloom and handicraft exhibition for the people of Bangalore. Manya, aims to bring as many artisans as possible from all over India and is dedicated in portraying the rich splendor of rural India and making them available to the connoisseurs of Art and Craft under one roof. Which is a mode of support to uplift and empower the artisans.

“What is unique about Hastkalaa is that the event is strictly dedicated to the promotion of the art, handloom and handicraft being our mainstay. Artisans deal with customers directly. The objective of event is to take the rich splendour of rural art to the urban clientele and creating awareness of the rare and exclusive art forms of our country”, says Jayanth Nazre, President of Manya Art and Kraft.
