Kuchipudi by Sarvani Yadavalli.

Indian Council for Cultural Relations in association with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is organising Kuchipudi Recital by Sarvani Yadavalli organised under Horizon Series.

Ms. Sarvani Yadavalli is an Empanelled artiste of ICCR and Artistic Director of Sahasra Fine Arts, Chennai

Sarvani Yadavalli, an epitome of dance coupled with strong fortitude and talent, is an avid Indian Classical dancer.

An engineer by profession, Sarvani is highly passionate about dance. With more than two decades of performing experience in more than fifteen countries, Sarvani staged shows in different national and international events.

A disciple of Padmasri Dr. Sobha Naidu, Smt. Seetha Nagajothy, Sri Vedantam Radheyshyam and Sri Rajaram, She has toured South, South East Asia & Europe presenting her notable productions- Daredevas, Krama, Shyama sundara, Tales of Mystic India, Bicycle with Barefoot and many more.

Her choreographies enthral the audience transporting them to another world. Dance exponents and media have time and again commended her as one of the best dancers of her generation. She was honoured with the national “Nrithya Shiromani” award, “Nrithya Vilasini”, “Natya Mayuri”, “Nrithya Bharathi” titles and many more. She is an empanelled artist of Indian Council or Cultural Relations (ICCR) and India World Cultural Forum (IWCF).

Her passion for excellence is evident in every walk of her life. A state topper in her college in the state of Andhra Pradesh, she did her engineering from one of the most prestigious colleges of India “Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS, Pilani)”.

Using the Indian classical dance form, Sarvani proposes to take up several social issues and address them in her attempt to perpetuate peace and harmony. She started Sahasra Fine Arts and intends to train many others in this beautiful art form.
