Sau Poler to perform at The Humming Tree
Supporting acts by Soulspace and Frame/Frame

Sau Poler:
Organic and optimistic with a tinge of melancholic wistfulness, Sau Poler’s music feels bright, modern and intimate – distilling his brand of disco-inflected house music. Growing up in Badalona, close to Barcelona along the Catalonian coast, Soler started out producing instrumental hip hop and downtempo but has since evolved his sound. In the past few years he has played on stages around the world, including many venues in Europe, Mexico, NYC and at Barcelona’s own Sónar. Since 2013 he has released several EPs on Amsterdam’s Atomnation label as well as remixing a plethora of artists. One of a new wave of electronic producers emerging from the cultural hub of Barcelona, along with peers such as John Talabot and Pional, Sau Poler makes accessible and uplifting dance music with a subtle balearic undertow.

The Humming Tree
The Humming Tree is an arts, music and performance space in Bangalore, India, open since June 2013. At the present moment, along with major international artists who are touring with us, we’re curating 25+ programmes a month including fantastic music gigs, fun workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, cultural performances, theatre, spoken word poetry, reading and storytelling sessions and other educational gatherings. We aim at providing a platform for the different arts, keeping in mind the beautifully varied resources and audiences we have access to. In addition to the performance venue, we run a fresh, unique kitchen and bar service.
