Namitha daughter of Smt Arundathi Nagabhushan & Sri Nagabhushan N S has had keen interest & passion for dance from a very young age.
Namitha Started pursuing this divine art of bharathanatyam at a tender age of 10 years from Vidhushi Sumangala Rathnakar. She also had an opportunity to seek guidance from guru H R Keshav Murthy. Now, she has been moulded into a fine dance under the guidance & a blessing of Guru Smt. B.K. Vasantha Lakshmi. This precious art form has imparted intellectual integrity, self-confidence & discipline.
Namitha has given numerous dance performances. She has actively participated in the cultural programmes conducted by her dance school. She has also won many accolades and inspired the younger generation to learn this art form.
Her solo performances include
Cultural festivals at Mangalore, Udupi, Surathkal, Dussera festival at Mysore Palace, Kadambotsava at Gadag, Hampi Utsav, Naadaneeranjam at Tirupathi, Sri Krishna Tulabara , Mysore, Parampara Festival, Bangalore, Indian dance festival, California ,USA, Every Wednesday Cultural Evening Hosted by Department of Kannada Culture, 0. Sai Nirtyotsava, Raghavendra Swamy Aaradhana, Cultural Evening at Lasya Vardhana, Madhura Madhuravi Manjula gana, DD Chandana and Other cultural festivals.
Namitha has completed senior grade examination conducted by KSEEB in which she stood 2nd in the entire Karnataka State. She has also completed junior level in vocal. She successfully completed her Rangapravesha in June 2014.
Academically Namitha has always been an outstanding performer. She is an engineer in E&C and graduated with a masters degree in Engg in California. She is currently working at SABIA, Inc. in San Diego, CA
Namitha aspires to be referred to as one of the finest dancers. She dedicates her performances to her parents and guru for having recognised her talent and encouraging her, also for being a pillar of support to fulfil her aspirations
