Songs of Darkness Concert By Nada Maninalkur

Nada Maninalkur who hails from Bantwal taluk and Maninalkur village, is striving hard with Arivu Organisation to empower youth and children.
Come, hear this amazingly beautiful folk singer sing in support of the Handmade Movement at Ragi Kana. He sings with handmade instruments and mostly a Tamburi. The event is mostly held in dark setup room with an earthen lamp lit next to him.
It’s going to be a peaceful therapy, an experience in itself!
In addition,
Between 11:00 AM – 06:00 PM, the Sunday Santhe will feature authentic khadi and handlooms, agri products sourced from farmer co-operatives, freshly harvested organic vegetables, home accessories, traditional games and more.
Farm Tours culminating in seed ball making will be conducted at 11:00 AM and 03:00 PM.
A Theatre workshop for children above 8 yrs will be conducted between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Ragi Kana is an initiative, by the volunteers of Graama Seva Sangha (an organization working towards bridging the gap between the rural and the urban) and Shri. Ramakrishna Samagra Shikshana kendra run by Hulkul trust. Co-organized by the volunteers, the Santhe, aims to provide sustainable livelihoods to farmers, weaver organizations and co-operatives while generating awareness about rural traditions.
