Crafts Council of Karnataka organizes “KUTEERA” an Exhibition and Sale of Handicrafts, Handlooms and Home accessories.

The Crafts council of Karnataka is a voluntary organization affiliated to the Crafts Council of India, which in turn, is affiliated to the World Crafts Council. The Crafts Council is dedicated to to promotion and development of traditional arts and crafts of Karnataka.

Started in 1967, with Smt. Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay as its Founder Patron, it has been working tirelessly to revive and resuscitate languishing crafts, encourage and support craftsmen by spreading a growing awareness among the public of the richness of our crafts.

37 craft units from across the country will be participating in this year’s “Kuteera” exhibition of quality, traditional and contemporary handcrafted products and home accessories.

The products on display and sale are, Minature Painting, Madhubani Painting, Lambani Embroidery, Bed covers, Manipur Pottery, Sikkhi Grass Baskets, Cotton durries, Mirzapur carpets, Artistic leather products, lacquerware craft items, Coconut wood items, Terracotta Blue pottery, Nagaland tribal art, Mathani Pachedi from Gujarat, Kalamkari prints, Ajarak prints, Bagru Prints, Malkha Yardage, Ikat, Gujarat Shawls, Home accessories etc.
