Home Canvas curates a unique Dine X Design Crawl at various restaurants in Bangalore

Part of the first edition of Bengaluru Design Week

It’s not just a meal, it’s a sensory experience

As part of Bengaluru Design Week (BDW), Home Canvas curates and launches a ‘Dine X Design’ crawl, a first of its kind event where some of the best designed restaurants, pubs and cafes in Bengaluru will share their story behind the design elements that make dining an unforgettable experience.

The Dine X Design Crawl intends to connect the F & B and design fraternity in order to gain an insight into the philosophy and processes behind the concept of a successful restaurant. The restaurants partnering for this event are 1Q1, Toast & Tonic, The Permit Room, Sly Granny, Fatty Bao, Burma Burma. Some of the themes that the event will look at exploring are décor, design, food and service and branding. The participants will spend some time in each of these venues to learn and understand what goes into creating delightful dining experiences through design.

Sandeep Sridhar, Founder and CEO of Home Canvas says, “The Food and Beverage industry in Bengaluru is constantly evolving, with restaurant concepts inspired by travel, world cultures and the city’s need for the latest in food and dining. This is a great way to understand the work that goes into designing a successful restaurant. The F&B industry is experimenting with a whole range of creative themes and concepts and every restaurant today has a unique story to tell. ”

The event would be ideal for Interior Designers, Architects, Design Students, Restaurant Owners, F&B Consultants, and Design Enthusiasts who are looking to understand the design philosophy of leading restaurants. The event aims to encourage constructive and creative exchange of ideas between industry experts, designers and restaurant owners.

“We believe that designing a restaurant is a lot more than creating a visual aesthetic. Its curating an experience that is emotional, immersive and where every touch point matters. The design process followed at Toast & Tonic was very organic and experimental, much like the food concept. I look forward to the exchange of ideas and learning more about the innovative concepts behind the other spaces that are a part of this design crawl” says Shruti Jaipuria, Founder of MAIA Design.

Ankit Gupta, Co Founder at Burma Burma says “With each of our spaces we strive to bring a piece of Burma that has inspired us. We are constantly working to re create spaces that transport our guests to this mesmerising country. With our Bangalore outpost we have represented Burma that thrives at the cusp of traditional beliefs and modern influences with a center focus on stupas found around the country. With

Dine X Design event in collaboration with Home Canvas, we are excited to share our Bangalore design story”
