On the ocassion of 150th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Rangoli Metro Art Center is organizing the following programs

Swadesh : Live Painting Contest
Presented by Rangoli Metro Art Center in collaboration with Art Matters

2 October 2018 | 10.00AM Onwards

Categories & Registration Fee :
Children ( Till 12th std. ) : Free
Art Students : Rs. 150 | Hobby/ Professional : Rs. 300

Prize for Art Students & Hobby/ Professional Category
First : Rs. 5000 | Second : Rs. 3000 | Third : Rs. 2000
Prize for Children Category : Citation & Certificate

Students/ Hobby/ Professional Category Participants will be provided with an easel, canvas (2ft X 2ft). For the Children Category, sheets will be provided.

Art Works will be returned to artists after the Exhibition except those of the winners. Paints, brush, pallet and other necessary items have to be arranged by participants themselves.

Every small act of positive change in one part of the world carries with it the ripple effect of making a significant impact on another.Just as a butterfly symbolizes transformation and a journey from the cocoon to the freedom of the skies, the butterfly effect promises the possibility of this fascinating journey towards bringing collective change around us.

This Gandhi Jayanti, come be a part of The Butterfly Effect, an interactive Public Art installation to spread the message of Hope and Fraternity as we celebrate the spirit of transformation, with a creative art activity for all to enjoy.

11am to 12 noon – Talk and Discussion on “Freedom to Change”

12 noon to 2pm – Art Installation

Drawing and Painting Exhibition by N S Kumbar Art students, on the occasion of “ Gandhi Jayanthi”

(Mahatma On Canvas) Art exhibition
on 2nd & 3rd of Oct, 2018. This is to promote our talented art students and give them
an opportunity to display their drawings & paintings.
Celebrating Gandhi Jayanthi from the past 7 years and exhibiting drawings by NSK art students for the last three. This year NSK will be exhibiting their paintings as well.
