An exhibition of Cartoons by Mr. Narendra V.G
Organized by 
Indian Institute of Cartoonists. 

Mr. Narendra started drawing pocket and political cartoons for newspapers during his college days. After graduating from Karnataka University he went to Mumbai to make a career for himself. His cartoons started appearing in The Illustrated Weekly of India, Dharmayug and other magazines. He contributed political cartoons for Free Press Journal for a year. His works caught the eye of Mr. Shankar Pillai. Mr.Narendra went to New Delhi to work for Shankar’s Weekly for 2 years. After the closure of SW in 1975, he came to Bangalore to join Samyuktha Karnataka as staff cartoonist. From the year 1987 to 2007 he worked with Kannada Prabha. Now he is devoting his time to promote the art of cartooning as Managing Trustee of the Indian Institute of Cartoonists.
